Community Family & Friends
Annual Pledge Drive and Fundraising

🌟 Help Us Grow What Makes Community Magnet Charter School Extraordinary! 🌟

Dear CMCS Families,

Each year, our Annual Pledge Drive is the cornerstone of what makes Community Magnet Charter School such a vibrant, enriching, and inspiring place for our children to learn and grow! This year, our Community  Families & Friends (CFF) fundraising goal is $412,090, which includes $211,090 to be raised through family pledges and an additional $55,000 in matching gifts. Together, family contributions and matching funds provide nearly two-thirds of the operating support needed to sustain the exceptional academic programs, enrichment opportunities, and student services that define the CMCS experience.

We need your help to unlock these critical matching funds. Every pledge brings us one step closer to our goal. While we ask you to give at whatever level is most comfortable for your family, we are kindly requesting each family to contribute $1,100 per student.

Your donation directly funds:

🎨 Enrichment Programs

  • CATCH, Chess, P.E. (Got Game) and Technology Instruction

  • Field trips and special projects

  • Scholarships (Astro Camp, CIMI Camp, Math Kangaroo)

🛠️ Support Services

  • Campus beautification, teacher support, translation services

  • Special events like Grandparents Day, Appreciation Week

  • Tech support and administrative assistance

  • Instructional Aides (IA's)

📚 Books, Materials & Technology

  • Library books, classroom supplies, laptops, Promethean Boards, and more

💡 Operating Costs

  • Insurance, accounting, and essential materials to keep everything running smoothly

🎁 Every Gift Counts
Whether you give the suggested $1,100 per student or an amount that’s meaningful to your family, your contribution makes a real difference. Plus, your pledge earns tickets and helps your child’s class qualify for fun classroom incentives like movie parties and Jamba Juice celebrations!

🌱 Giving Levels range from Seed ($1–$574) to Garden ($4,025+), with recognition in Toni’s “Community Corner” blog and exciting individual prizes like “Principal for the Day” and VIP event packages.

📅 Make your pledge by October 4, 2026 to be eligible for incentive prizes!

Let’s come together to ensure 100% participation and keep CMCS thriving for every student. Thank you for being part of this incredible community!

With Gratitude,
Community Family & Friends (CFF)
